Can I use my ELC for your programs?
ELCs can be used for all CNet programs that offer a qualification.

Which programs should I choose?
Our 20-day resettlement package (the most popular option) is a 10-day Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI) programs, covering copper and fibre installation, followed by a 10-day work placement – basically a two-week interview that could turn into a job offer. However, there are many programs depending on your aspirations.

What could I earn?
This varies, depending on location and role, but the industry-wide skills shortage is driving up salaries, especially for those with recognised qualifications and certifications. As a guide, network cable installers can expect £30-35,000 and data centre technicians £45,000 plus per annum. Utilising your ELCs with us can help progress your career and salary.

How secure is a career in digital infrastructure?
About as secure as it gets! Everyone relies totally on digital connectivity to communicate and share data. Even in times where other industries suffer, this industry is active 24/7/365 since it’s needed to keep the world working.

What is the big fibre rollout?
The fibre rollout is laying the infrastructure to achieve the Government’s commitment of delivering nationwide gigabit-capable broadband by 2030. Although opportunities are vast within laying external fibre now, we recommend doing the CNCI program, as it provides the skills to both immediately hit the ground running and the longevity of career opportunities, post rollout.
