My client is recruiting for a number of Field Technicians/ Van Drivers who will be based in your area.

This would suit a Driver, Multidrop Driver, Meter Reader, Noise Logging Technician, Labourer or Warehouse Operative who is looking for a change in career.

The role requires you to deploy and retrieve loggers (small metal listen devices) within a DMA (district metered area) for water companies. The day to day duties include deploying loggers on the client’s furniture, most likely on fire hydrants and valves and normally 80-100 loggers deployed per day.

The loggers will need to be retrieved 24 hrs later and downloaded to see what results have been captured and the process repeated.

The loggers aim is to capture constant leakage noise between optical times of 2.00 – 4.00 am and the noise is given in Decibels.

This is a manual job which may involve lifting, stretching and bending and experience of driving long hours is beneficial.

On the job training will be given and after this has been completed the right individual would be expected to work on their own from instructions from the client.

This role is 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri).

Previous experience within the water industry and using an acoustic logger would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

Possession of the following current certification would be advantageous:

• EUSR Water Hygiene Card
• Unit 2 Street Works
