The Armed Forces Development Project is the first of its kind and is a great opportunity to make a real difference to understand how to better support those in the Armed Forces at the risk of, or already experiencing harm from gambling.

The role has initially been funded for just over two years, with the key deliverables being:
* gambling awareness training for Armed Forces personnel and support organisations
* insights workshops and networking events to understand the needs of this cohort
* the development of client support models, supporting those in the Armed Forces to reduce gambling related harm

As the successful candidate you’ll be responsible for ensuring the success of the project. You’ll need to network with stakeholders across the Armed Forces and the organisations that support them, securing buy-in and expanding the reach of the project.

You will need demonstrable experience of managing successful projects and building productive relationships with senior stakeholders as well as the ability to engage with service users/people with lived experience.

You will also need the ability to manage projects/programmes with competing priorities and multiple workstreams to meet KPIs as well as supervise and develop staff.

Experience of working with or alongside Armed Forces personnel or organisations is equally important.
