Nottinghamshire Police welcomes you to join us and help serve your community.

We recognise the second-to-none experience, transferable skills, teamwork, and ability to provide critical thinking to real-life scenarios that all Military personnel possess. The force is proud to have former members of the Armed Forces working with us, and we encourage you to consider joining Nottinghamshire Police too. We have many suitable roles in the force for Military personnel, from police officers and control room call handlers, to trainers and skilled staff members.

Support
Nottinghamshire Police support local Military personnel, and we work in partnership with ‘OP Nova’, a national organisation that works with and supports Veterans who have come into contact with the justice system.

We also sit on the Nottinghamshire Civil and Military Partnership Board (a support group for the wider Armed Forces community of Nottinghamshire).

Why Nottinghamshire?
Geographically, Nottinghamshire is central in the UK, and has great transport links, making it easy to travel home whether you’re heading north or south! If you enjoy the outdoors, the Peak District is right on the doorstep and importantly, there is a fantastic social scene for downtime.
