Dulson Training Ltd is a family run training organisation dedicated to offering every individual the most immersive and beneficial training packages possible.
Having signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2020 we were awarded the Defence ERS Bronze Award for our commitment to Armed Forces personnel looking to gain new qualifications before transitioning to civilian life.
ELCAS accredited
We are an ELCAS accredited learning provider for RTITB accredited forklift, ADR and HGV Class 2 and Class 1 licence acquisition and instructor training courses.
HGV training with various versions of adaptive hand controls is available and allows a wider range of people the opportunity to learn and gain new qualifications. As such, we have helped people to gain an automatic Cat C Class 2 and Cat C+E Class 1 driving licence and Driver CPC qualifications using push, pull and electronic hand controls instead of foot operated accelerator and braking.
Training is delivered at our approved centres covering Shropshire, Herefordshire, Mid Wales, North Wales, West Midlands, Cheshire and Staffordshire and some courses are available off site, nationwide and remotely.

The adaptive controls, for example, all started with a Service-leaver contacting us who had lost the use of his legs during a training exercise but always dreamt of following his father’s career path and becoming a professional HGV driver. After working with various adaptive control companies, a solution was found. This has led to similar learners travelling from all over the UK to use our Cat C and C+E with adaptive controls and offering guidance for potential employers requiring the use of these controls to be fitted into their equipment.”
