Making home ownership affordable and accessible

Gleeson Homes is proud to be making home ownership even more affordable to members of the Armed Forces through several of its schemes and incentives.

With a 5% deposit contribution‡ and Shared Ownership~ available on selected homes throughout the Midlands and north of England, the housebuilder has partnered with an experienced provider to ensure members of the Military receive help and support throughout their homebuying journey, including guidance on accessing the Forces Help to Buy scheme.

In addition, and in acknowledgement of the hard work our Armed Forces do, Gleeson is also contributing an additional £1,500 towards options and extras☦, allowing new purchasers to personalise their new home.

Energy efficient homes
According to Energy Performance Certificate data in the ‘Watt a Save’ report 2023, 85% of new build homes were rated A or B for energy performance, while just 4% of existing properties reached the same standard. All Gleeson homes are built with various energy saving features such as zoned heating, well insulated lofts, brand new boilers, low maintenance appliances, and water saving taps; all designed to reduce running costs while having a positive environmental impact.

Peace of mind
Gleeson recognises the importance of quality when it comes to purchasing a home. To give customers extra peace of mind, a two-year Gleeson warranty supported by the NHBC’s resolution service and a further eight years of NHBC insurance coverage are included with every home. Gleeson were also among the first home builders to sign on to the New Homes Quality Code in 2022, further demonstrating their dedication to ensuring quality standards are met.
