For some, while the idea of resettling from the Military into a police service is appealing, the role of a response officer isn’t right for them. At Thames Valley Police, we have a large amount of police staff who help support and lead instrumental roles in our police force, in fact we are one of the largest employers in the region and roughly 4,000 out of our 8,000 workforce are police staff.
