Become A Health and Care Reserve – Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent

Off By Ed Hanna

Could you spare some time to step in and support local health and care services in times of real need?

Do you really want to make a difference but can’t commit to full time hours? Or perhaps you are considering a career change and would like a taste of working in the health and care sector?

We are looking for very special people, like you, to come and join our growing bank of reserves –

You don’t need any previous experience in care to be able to support, just the right values. We will provide full training to enable you to work in a variety of roles and settings such as a care home, to help care for individuals in their own home, to help out on a ward in times of staff shortage – or maybe a little bit of driving or providing admin support is more suitable for you.

Whatever your current skillset or areas of interest, you have so much to offer and just stepping forward for a few hours once or twice a month could make a huge difference to some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

We will provide:

  • Comprehensive paid training/shadowing package to meet your individual needs.
  • Generous hourly rate.
  • Outstanding wellbeing support; we’ll look after you every step of the way.
  • Provision of full PPE.
  • Flexibility – you choose when to work, to fit alongside existing commitments.

We would love to tell you so much more about the role of reserves and how you may be able to help. Please contact us today, via: ICSRecruitment@MPFT.nhs.uk
