The consultancy business transforming the way we tackle mental health in the workplace

We use lived experience of mental illness to help support others.

Being a Veteran and a business owner working in mental health means I’m in a truly fortunate position to help other Veterans who may be struggling. This is why I signed the Armed Forces Covenant and made a commitment to give preferential treatment to all organisations who have made a commitment to support the Armed Forces by signing the Covenant.

I left the Military in 2017 after years of suffering from severe mental health issues. Although things had improved for me, I was still far from being out of the woods. After leaving I didn’t know where I could go for support with my mental health and wasn’t sure how prospective employers would react if I was open about the challenges I was facing. Would they even give me a job and if they did, could they support me in my recovery?

Support
Four years on and I’m in a really good place and now run a business that works with organisations that shows them how they can reduce the stigma, support the mental health of their employees, and create an environment where people can speak openly about their challenges. Because nobody should ever have to suffer alone.

To me, signing the Covenant is about making a commitment to use my skillset and fortunate position to support those who support us.
