If you’re regular Armed Forces personnel you’ll benefit by being able to borrow up to 50% of your salary interest-free and up to a maximum of £25,000, providing a boost towards your deposit on your new home. The money can also be used towards other costs such as solicitors’ and estate agent fees.

To be eligible for Forces Help to Buy, you must fulfil the following criteria:

Be in regular Service
Those Serving in the Royal Navy must have been accepted onto trained strength
Army and RAF personnel must have completed two years of Service from the date of enlistment and be on trained strength i.e. completed phase two training.
Have at least six months left to Serve at the time of application.

Servicemen and Servicewomen do not have to be married nor have children to be eligible – single there are extenuating medical and personal circumstances.
