Homecare provider Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole is proud to announce that its Registered Manager, Helen Garland, has been named Woman Franchise Employee of the Year at the 2019 NatWest Encouraging Women into Franchising Awards.

EWIF is a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers, providing advice and guidance to anyone looking to break into the franchise industry. It holds an annual awards ceremony designed to bring together the best women in the industry to celebrate their successes and this year’s awards saw more than 150 professionals attend.

Bournemouth resident Helen collected the award on Thursday at a glittering ceremony held in the City at the Royal Bank of Scotland, 280 Bishopsgate, London. She attended the awards alongside Poole resident and Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole Managing Director, Andrew Davis.

Helen, who has worked for Right at Home for more than 7 years, was up against tough competition in her category, but was recognised as the worthy winner of the award for her work in growing the business from scratch to now employing 60 people and caring for nearly 100 clients across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Commenting on Helen’s award win, Managing Director, Andrew Davis, said: “I am thrilled Helen has been recognised for her achievements. She joined me as I launched my Right at Home franchise in 2012 and has been an incredible asset to the business ever since. She’s been instrumental in supporting the business to achieve its vision to provide outstanding care and support to each and every one of our Clients and is a great source of support to Clients and colleagues alike.”

Helen added: “It’s a great feeling to win an award for a job that I love. I count myself very lucky to work and have the support of an amazing team and this award win wouldn’t be possible without them.”
