Charities: Have you got what it takes to be Rewards For Forces Charity of the Year?

CaptureRewards for Forces have launched an exciting new campaign to find a Charity of the Year who will benefit from frequent donations from the UK’s largest discount and benefits website for members of the Armed Forces, their Partners and Veterans.

As we begin 2014, Rewards for Forces brings over 250,000 members of the Armed Forces Community who have signed up to make savings and Rewards for Forces aim to use their website to promote Forces Charities as well as the savings to be made.

As a result, they will be running a campaign where their members can vote for the Charity of the Year that will be supported by Rewards for Forces for the next 12 months. For each discount card purchased, a donation of £5.00 will be made to the winning Forces Charity.

At the beginning of February Rewards for Forces will decide a shortlist of 5 charities that will be the nominees. Each charity will be featured in their own newsletter that goes to all members and will contain a profile of the fantastic work they do. The voting will then open to the Members who can vote on the Rewards for Forces website.

The winner will be announced in May 2014 and for the next 12 months they will receive maximum promotion via the Rewards for Forces website, newsletters, magazine and social networks as well as receiving a donation each time a Rewards for Forces card is purchased.

Nominations are open until 31st January so if you know of any Charities you wish to be considered, please contact Katrina McMahon at katrina@atlanticonlinemedia.com. Rewards for Forces’ goal for 2014 is to use their resources to let members know about the Charities and Support Organisations that are out there for them. Sometimes it is difficult to ask for help when we need it most and the UK’s leading discount site for members of the Armed Forces, Veterans and Partners hope that in bringing the information directly to it’s members, they will benefit from these services.
