Type 42 destroyer HMS Liverpool marks 100 days of patrolling the coast of Libya today, helping enforce the UN Security Council Resolutions designed to protect the country’s civilians from Colonel Gaddafi’s former regime.
Current and potential contributors to military operations in Libya underlined their commitment at yesterday’s conference in London to the necessity of military action to implement Unites Nation Security Council Resolutions (UNSCRs) 1970 and 1973, the UK Foreign Secretary said.
