The British Standards Institution

Off By Ed Hanna

The British Standards Institution (BSI) is the UK’s national standards body. We produce technical standards on a wide range of products and services and supply certification and standards-related services to businesses. BSI is also an approved enhanced learning credits (ELC) course provider.

We have been helping those facing MOD resettlement since 2009 so we know and understand the needs and challenges you face when moving back into civilian life. We can help you make the most of your ELC entitlement so that you’re prepared for your career ahead.

Skills such as process management, root cause analysis, investigation and improvement are all in high demand across a wide variety of sectors and areas. Whether you’re interested in working in information security, quality management, business continuity or health and safety, BSI have courses that can help you transfer your existing skills to civilian life.

Skills gap
Approximately 48% of all businesses have a basic skills gap in cybersecurity and half of all employers find it difficult to fill generalist cyber roles. Gaining a recognised qualification to implement or assess against recognised international standards (ISOs) can really make you stand out from the crowd.

Let us help you build on your professional knowledge and skills to improve your career opportunities and land a new job.
