There are a number of redevelopment projects taking place across our sites to improve the environments our staff provide care to our patients in. These include upgrades and expansions within the emergency departments, and an acute services block and new ward block at the L&D for maternity, critical care, theatres and neonatology services.
In addition, we now have robotic assisted surgery at both sites, with the arrival of two Da Vinci XI robots.
Improving care
Our trust holds a Silver Armed Forces Covenant ERS Award and is part of the Veteran Aware Programme. We are working towards receiving an accreditation, which will allow us to improve care for the Armed Forces community.
