A pledge of supportive learning

Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) has a suite of programmes for full-time Serving, Reservist and Veteran members of the Armed Forces seeking to gain a new qualification and improve their management skills to progress in their existing careers or prepare for the next. A supportive approach to creative development, placing you as the knowledge expert of your role, at the centre of the teaching process, is adopted.

As an approved learning provider under the Armed Forces Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELCAS), they can assist Serving members of all three Services, as well as their MOD civilian colleagues, to achieve academic recognition. As Silver Armed Forces Covenant Award members, they are among recognised private and public sector employers that pledge, demonstrate and advocate support for the Defence and Armed Forces community, and meet the objectives of the Armed Forces Covenant.
