101 years of Remembrance by Scotland’s Officers Association

Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the Service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

In 2021 Scotland’s Officers Association marks 101 years of remembrance. Every day we are proud to provide lifelong employment and financial support to officers and their families from the tri-Services across Scotland.

We give whatever help we can to those in need. Sometimes that’s long-term support providing annual grants to war widows. Sometimes it’s short-term help, to get people past the inevitable bumps in the road of life.

Lifelong
We offer a lifelong professional and bespoke service to aid the transition journey and beyond supporting not only officers but also their partners or spouses. Our experienced consultants, analyse and enhance the exceptional abilities and experience to tailor skills for that perfect role and ensure security, stability and independence for every officer and family in Scotland.

The introduction of our centenary bursary award aims to enable self-development, to achieve and progress in that desired career.

We support employers to see the potential of leadership and resilience in their workforce, opening their eyes to the vast skills former Military personnel can bring to their organisation.

It is an honour to support those who have sacrificed so much. For the past 101 years, and for the next, we will always ensure our Veterans get the support they deserve.
