SSAFA thanks the Military community this Armed Forces Day

Off By Ed Hanna

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, is proud to support and thank everyone in the Forces Family this Armed Forces Day.

With over 60 million* people across the UK now vaccinated with their first vaccine dose, this shows how vital the Armed Forces still are to this nation and why they need our support, as they continue to help with the vaccine rollout. They have continually Served us across the decades and are always prepared for whatever challenges face them. We have also witnessed them help with disaster recovery, such as during flooding throughout the year, ensuring people were able to evacuate their homes safely and helping flooded communities.

As the UK’s oldest tri-Service Military charity we are here to support those in the Armed Forces community when they turn to us for help. We have been supporting the Armed Forces Family for more than 135 years and not just during times of conflict. We help those currently Serving, Veterans and their families to retain their independence and dignity. Our services are diverse, and so are the people we help. With your help, whether practical, emotional or financial, we can get them the support they need.

A big thank you from SSAFA, to all our Armed Forces, both here in the UK and overseas.
