Before this year, the highest qualification trainee Locksmiths could achieve was an accreditation but times are changing and rules and regulations are cracking down, especially within this industry.
So, working ahead of the game are Keytek® Locksmiths and Highfield who have produced the Level 3 Diploma for Commercial Locksmiths and Property Security. This is the first and only Locksmith qualification available in the UK with Keytek® being one of the first and only training centres to provide this qualification.
What is the Locksmith Qualification?
The first Locksmith qualification in the UK is the Level 3 Diploma for Commercial Locksmiths and Property Security which has been regulated by Highfield, a global leader in apprenticeships and work-based learning qualifications. This course is the only one of its kind to be government approved.
The official Locksmith qualification is offered by Keytek® Locksmiths Training Academy and consists of 14 separate units to ensure Locksmith trainees learn everything they will need to know from lock outs to uPVC doors and windows and more!
Why train with Keytek® Locksmith Academy?
Keytek® Locksmiths are industry professionals and have been training successful Locksmiths for decades! The course(s) are taught by expert Locksmiths in their very own purpose-built training centre located in Poole, Dorset. Keytek® guarantee that each student will be provided with their own door and tools throughout the duration of the course. Furthermore, Keytek®limit the number of students to just three per course to ensure all important 1 to 1 training and safe social distancing.
How much does the Locksmith Qualification Course Cost?
The course costs £2,849 + VAT. However, Keytek® Academy offer all of their students a 0% APR loan to split the cost down into more manageable chunks over a time period of up to 12 months. As well as the interest free loan Keytek® are an ELCAS approved training facility so those leaving the armed forces are able to use their Enhanced Learning Credits towards the cost!
