What is the Big Battlefield Bike Ride?

Big Battlefield Bike Ride is our iconic cycling challenge that combines military history, camaraderie and pedal power in an event like no other! This year we will be taking back the beaches of Normandy, commemorating 75 years since the D Day landings. Join us and pay your respects to the Heroes of the past whilst supporting our Heroes of today. 350 miles, 200 people, D-Day 75 years.

Date: 9-15th June 2019

Where does my money go?

We want you to know exactly where your money is going. So, your first fundraising target of £1280 covers the cost of your trip. This pays for your transport, accommodation, all of your meals, refreshments, mechanical support, history tours, ceremonial memorial events, your BBBR cycling jersey and medal! It also pays for an experience like no other that you will remember for the rest of your life.

The final fundraising target is £2700 and every penny raised up to, and beyond, this target will go directly to supporting Servicemen and women who have suffered life-changing injuries, some of whom you will cycle alongside as you take back the beaches of Normandy.
