We have exciting opportunities for passionate and caring individuals to join our team at MPFT as a Recovery Worker, within our drug and alcohol recovery and support services, there to support individuals impacted by their own or someone else’s use of drugs or alcohol.
In this role, you will utilise all of your expertise in providing a remarkable service and care to your own caseload of service users, this includes being responsible for offering a range of interventions, care planning, assessments and supporting service users through their treatment journey and recovery ambitions – from beginning to end.
The job description will vary depending on where it is situated and the banding, but responsibilities may include:
- Responsible for maintaining a caseload of complex clients supporting them to move forward in their recovery
- To accept referrals, assess need, and make appropriate recommendations as part of a robust duty system
- To provide a drug and alcohol recovery service (incorporating assessment, recovery planning, casework coordination and psycho-social interventions)
