At Barratt and David Wilson Homes, we understand the sacrifice and dedication of Britain’s Military personnel. That’s why we’re proud to introduce a special scheme designed to express our gratitude and support for our Armed Forces community.

Our Armed Forces Deposit Contribution Scheme aims to ease the path to homeownership for Military personnel across our developments.

Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Midlands, Mark Cotes, said: “We recognise the tremendous contributions of our Military personnel and are committed to helping members of the Armed Forces to achieve their dream of owning a high quality new home.”

How does the scheme work?
Qualifying Military personnel will receive a 5% deposit contribution, up to £15,000, towards their home purchase. For example, for a property priced at £200,000, eligible individuals would receive a generous contribution of £10,000.

Who is eligible for the scheme?
All UK Armed Forces personnel currently Serving in the Army, Navy, or RAF are welcome to apply. Even those on the verge of retirement need not worry, as members of the Armed Forces due to retire within the year remain eligible for up to 12 months from their retirement date.

Mark added: “Applying for the scheme is hassle-free, and we are encouraging interested individuals to reach out to our dedicated sales team, who can connect you with a specialist new homes mortgage adviser to guide you through the process, ensuring a smooth transition towards homeownership.”

Partnering with esteemed organisations like Defence Discount Service and the Ministry of Defence (MOD), we extend our reach to offer comprehensive support to our Armed Forces community.
