On Thursday (13 December) the Ministry of Defence website will close and all content for the Department will be found on the ‘Inside Government’ section of the new government website GOV.UK

Civil servants to receive 10 days’ paid leave for Reserves training

The Defence Secretary has announced that, from December, civil servants in central government departments who volunteer as reservists will receive a minimum of 10 days’ special paid leave per year to conduct their military training.
