ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is the National Charity of the British Army.


Originally established as the Army Benevolent Fund in 1944, it provides a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families in times of need. Last year the Charity’s charitable expenditure exceeded £8.4 million, providing help to nearly 5,000 individuals as well as 88 delivery charities, which provide specialist support on its collective behalf. The Charity’s work has a global impact, supporting the Army family in over 55 countries worldwide, touching the lives of around 80,000 people each year. It is there ‘For Soldiers – For Life’.
