We have great disabled facilities in our luxury 5 bed-roomed FULLY disabled friendly holiday home. With free wifi, pets welcome, fully adapted with celing hoists and sleeping between 10-14 people.

With plenty of parking and easy access The Moat House has “the space”, that you’d expect from a Georgian Villa, that lends itself so well to wheelchair users. To the rear of the house itself there is a large, tranquil, wheelchair friendly courtyard style garden with patios, pagoda, “Sensory Garden” and BBQ area with outdoor tables and chairs – The ideal place to relax and unwind.

The Moat House and grounds are built on the moat bank of a 12th Century “Motte & Bailley” castle, the original seat of the ‘De Brus’ family, the ancestors of ‘Robert the Bruce’ (king of Scotland 1306-1329) who was featured in the film ‘Braveheart’. Early owners of the house also included James Grahame a famous Scottish poet who wrote the classic poem “The Sabbath”.
