Specialty Doctor for Emergency Medicine

We are one of only a handful of NHS trusts in the country to consistently meet the four-hour standard achieving more than 95% for the entirety of 2017. We are looking for a highly-motivated Specialty Doctor (Middle Grade) to join our Emergency Department team.

This is a permanent or fixed term position and can be part time or full time, working on an extremely flexible annualised rota.

As an accredited Trauma Unit with a diverse patient-mix, the team see 46,000+ patients a year – you are guaranteed varied and interesting clinical challenges.

Yeovil Hospital has an excellent track record of supporting our doctors through the CESR process towards becoming a Consultant.

Yeovil Hospital is located close to RNAS Yeovilton, only two hours from London and less than one hour from the coast. The quality of life in urban and rural South Somerset and North Dorset is excellent due to the combination of beautiful countryside, availability of excellent schools, and low costs of living.
