ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL have been invited to join the stars at The O2 London tomorrow for The National Television Awards 2016 through military charity, Tickets For Troops.

The NTA’s have once again given a nod to our country’s servicemen and women and offered them tickets to see their favourite television stars at the biggest night in British TV.

The National Television Awards, presented by Dermot O’Leary, will be attended by actors and actresses from shows including X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, Coronation Street, EastEnders, Downton Abbey and Poldark plus many more.

The military charity Tickets For Troops (www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk) has worked with the team behind the Award ceremony over the last few years and are delighted to be able to offer their members the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved night out.

Many troops who benefit from the charity endure long periods of separation from their families due to operational tours, cutting leave short to assist communities with floods or living apart from their families during the week.

Veronica Bamford, Director of Operations at Tickets For Troops said “After a wet and windy Christmas for some of our servicemen and women, the National Television Awards provides a glamorous and much welcomed evening with the stars. We are hugely grateful that the NTA’s have once again offered this fabulous opportunity to our deserving troops.”

Tickets For Troops was set up in 2009 to provide free tickets to the Armed Forces for sports, music, theatre, cultural and entertainment events across the UK.

The charity has distributed over 800,000 free tickets in the last 6 years and is proud to offer tickets to troops which they can share with their loved ones, as a small acknowledgement and reward for the work they do for our country.
