MoD survey shows almost a third of service personnel suffer from low morale as army struggles to recruit reservists

Morale in the armed forces has suffered steep drops during David Cameron’s premiership, according to the Ministry of Defence’s annual survey of attitudes in the military.

No explanation is offered for the decline but it follows a series of cutbacks by the Conservative-led coalition in which the number of jobs in the military has been slashed.
